Dr. Valdovinos
Dr. Valdovinos received her Master’s and Doctor of Psychology degrees from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco. Dr. Valdovinos trained at Kaiser Permanente Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program for adolescents and adults and the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center in health psychology. Dr. Valdovinos completed her clinical and health psychology internship at the United States Air Force’s Wilford Hall Medical Center in Texas. She is licensed in California (PSY28167). Additionally, she earned behavioral and cognitive psychology board certification by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
From 2009 to 2015, Dr. Valdovinos served as a US Air Force officer and psychologist. While in the US Air Force, she supervised and trained post-doctoral psychology residents, led health psychology clinics, substance abuse treatment clinics, disaster response teams, and suicide prevention programs while receiving specialized training in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, and mindfulness and virtual reality therapies.
